Madeline JohnsonHaving also chaired the first Rolling Requiem, Madeline brings over twenty years of experience in the strategic development, management and implementation of visionary projects. She has served in a variety of positions, in both the public and private sectors. Highlights of her career include overall strategy and implementation of a federal policy initiative that opened the door for the development of a multi-billion dollar private satellite launching industry, several high profile leveraged buyouts and pioneering research in forecasting emerging public policy issues.
Edward R. Birdwell
Ed is a retired arts administrator with over 20 years of experience in such organizations as the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, The National Endowment for the Arts, The Boston Symphony Orchestra, The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and The Carnegie Hall Corporation. Prior to entering the arts administration field, he was for 20 years a professional French horn player performing in New York City with The New York City Ballet Orchestra, The American Brass Quintet, Stokowski's American Symphony Orchestra and virtually every freelance orchestra in New York including subbing with The New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra as well as playing in many Broadway shows ; he was a member of the Aspen Music School and Festival. Prior to moving to New York, Ed was a member of the Houston Symphony and the US. Military Academy Band at West Point.
Erik Utter
Erik is a broadcast video engineer and technology consultant specializing in facility design, imaging, and technical production coordination. He has design numerous live television production and post-production facilities, was the Chief Engineer at Flying Spot in Seattle, acts as a consultant to high-definition network television productions, and is an active member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers. Recently, he worked for NBC television in Athens, Greece as a member of the engineering team for the Olympics broadcast.
Arnold Buhman
Early in his life, Arne spent twelve years as a professional musician. During this time he attended Pacific Lutheran University and majored in Music Theory & Composition. He later went back to school to become a Computer Technician and then joined GE Capital as a Lead Computer Technician for seven years. Since 2000, he has been the Director of IT for Flying Spot Inc., a media, television, and film design firm. Arne also enjoys singing with the Rainer Chorale and spending time with his wife and two kids.
