Event will included a performance of Mozart's Requiem, along with the National Anthem with Marines Color Guard, Bell Ringers (the audience was encouraged to bring their own bells and join in), a minute of silence, and a medley of patriotic songs. A continental breakfast was also served.

Acting Police Chief, Sgt. Steven Weisher represented the police department The U.S. Marines Color Guard (from Westover Air Force Base) made an impression. Emma Giel, pianist, accompanied the "Music Makers" - Bloomfield's Goodwill Ambassadors. Acting Police Chief, Sargent Steven Weisher with Town Manager Louie Chapman, Jr. Emergency Medical Technician, Nancy Fitzgerald, was present throughout the day. Priscilla Newcomb of Winsted, CT, read her poetry and gave the participants an outlet for our sorrow. Bloomfield Mayor Faith McMahon and State Representative Mary Eberle were present throughout the morning.

The Requiem was performed in a Communion Service. The Orchestra is the New England Chamber Players and the Soloists are: Philippa Dearsley- Soprano, Jae Eun Paik -Mezzo- Soprano, Tenors: Terry Beaurline and Christopher Beaurline, Bass - David Winkworth. The Service begins at 8:00pm at The Congregtaional Church, 23 Park Street, New Canaan, CT 06840
