First Presbyterian Church, 1432 Washtenaw, Ann Arbor. 8:00 a.m. to about 11:00 a.m. Combined choruses from the Ann Arbor area performed in honor of those who died on Sept. 11, 2001. Conducted by Thomas Hilbish. Sponsored by the Ann Arbor Cantata Singers. All singers and orchestra players who have previously performed the work were welcome.

Grosse Pointe, MI, USA
Christ Church Chorale, The DeHaven Chorale
Christ Church Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Sept. 11 at 8:30 a.m. Christ Church held a remembrance service which began with prayers for the departed, silence, and the Mozart Requiem performed with a chorus of 90, orchestra, and soloists, directed by Frederic DeHaven at 8:46 a.m.

Included one movement of the Requiem in their chapel service on Sept. 11. The Jr. and Sr. Choir were be accompanied by the school's orchestra.

I just attended the Rolling Requiem presentation in Midland, Michigan, presented by the Music Society of the Midland Center for the Arts, with assistance from a variety of other local music groups.

The event was standing-room-only, and the audience was greatly moved by the event. On behalf of all of us in Midland, THANK YOU for the foresight to organize this program nationwide. - Dan Cline
